Mr. Pratap Deshmukh, the Managing Director and founder of INDPRO ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS (INDIA) PVT. LTD., is a distinguished post-graduate from IIT Madras, holding an MTech degree in Electronics. With over 40 years of invaluable experience in the field of instrumentation and automation, Mr. Deshmukh has been instrumental in shaping the company's success.
In 1987, he established Indpro Electronic Systems India Pvt Ltd, initially focusing on the manufacturing of electronic instruments such as indicators, scanners, and annunciators. Recognizing the evolving needs of the industry, Mr. Deshmukh steered the company towards automation and instrumentation projects. His expertise and collaboration with leading consultants and customers in India have proven invaluable.
Under his visionary leadership, Indpro has successfully executed automation projects across various industries in India and more than 10 countries. Mr. Deshmukh has been at the forefront of introducing the latest automation technology, making Indpro a true pioneer in the field. His relentless dedication, combined with the collective efforts of the Indpro family, has been instrumental in the company's consistent growth and success.
Our Journey
1987
Successfully installed the first project, a PLC-based sequential timer, at Yashwant Sugars
1992
Implemented a PLC-based data acquisition system at Nicholas Piramal, Hyderabad.
1993
Achieved the milestone of the first export job by delivering a data acquisition system to Square Pharma in Bangladesh.
1997
Established Indpro as the preferred choice for Atlas Copco, which standardised our PLC-based control panels.
2001
Executed the first co-gen plant automation system for Rana Sugars in Punjab. Received national recognition
for excellence with the implementation of the first DCS-based plant automation at Vitthal Sugars, which was honoured with a
prestigious efficiency award.
2003
Commenced a fruitful partnership with SMAR Brasil, the leading automation company in Latin America.
2005
Recognized with the Best Technical Paper Award at the All India Sugar Conference in Hyderabad.
2010
Actively participated in the International Sugar Conference held in Kenya.
2012
Achieved authorised channel partnership status with ABB, the world leaders in automation.
2014
Successfully installed one of the largest DCS systems (9000 I/Os) at Orient Cement Limited (OCL) in Gulbarga, Andhra Pradesh.
2015
Secured a prestigious order for the automation of Pharma process reactors at CIPLA plant in Kurkumbh,
Maharashtra. Completed the automation of one of Maharashtra's largest co-gen plants (44 Megawatts) at Warana Sugar Factory
in Warananagar.
2017
Honoured with an award from ABB as the most consistent performing channel partner worldwide, presented at the global conference held in Krakow, Poland.
2018
Instrumentation of all gas compressors for Atlas Copco at Dangote Refinery in Nigeria.
2022
Successfully accomplished the complete sugar plant automation project for Bagamoyo Sugar in Tanzania.
2023
Received the esteemed "Most Valuable Business Partner" award from Atlas Copco during the conference held in Pune, Maharashtra.
